Just finished all available episodes of S4, thought it was excellent. Can't wait for part 2.

I was actually enjoying the fourth season. I'm now on episode 9. It's flipping dreadful. I can't understand how they have made it this bad.

Overall I have to say I was a little disappointed with this season of Stranger Things. I was under the impression that this was going to be the final season until I saw the last episode so maybe it felt just anticlimatic in that context.

Even though it was still fairly good, my main complaints are:

- Episodes dragged out.
- Carrying too many weak characters/storylines.
- Almost feels repetitive at this point, I know the whole nostalgia/80s thing is a major selling point and arguably the reason I loved the show, but every episode just feels predictable or that we've seen it before.

Yes, it dragged at times but I loved it, a feast for the eyes and ears.

As a solitary season. So far, 5 is brilliant but as a continuation of season 4, not so much.

I'm not really enjoying it anymore. Episode 4 was decent towards the end but the pacing is awful, a mixed up mess.

I just want to see how it finishes.

Only just got around to finishing it.

The story was only okay for me. I never could regain my level of emotional investment due to the gaps between S3 and S4 (3 years) and S4 and S5 (3.5 years). I think to get the full impact of the story, you really need to have rewatched all the seasons before watching S5 and be able to ignore them trying portray 2 years in the story but 10 years in real life had passed.
