I've been trying to ignore the MetaVerse but it keeps cropping up. Usually, it's either people talking about it being the next generation of entertainment or else, well....tweets like this

If it provides a new way for narcissists to share every minutiae of their fake lives, it will be enormously popular.

Depends. Second Life seems to have fizzled out a bit, but then I'm not sure how different this is to Second Life.

That said, if he uses it as an advertising platform or an expensive subscription service, I can see interest waning.
