So many things look wrong about this movie, poor casting, abysmal dialogue, using a "modern feminist interpretation" of an almost 3000 year old Greek poem as the basis of the narrative.

Bloody loved it. Proper epic movie in the classic sense of the word. Great action, cinematography and effects, but ultimately it's driven by strong, brilliantly written characters. Such a refreshing change from the usual Marvel/DC/Disney shite that passes for epic cinema these days, which is all effects and surface but weak characters and no heart.

Brilliant performances throughout, even from those I had my doubts about when I saw the casting (Anne Hathaway, John Leguizamo, Himesh Patel).

Worth the wait, and definitely lives up to the hype. Only regret is that I wish I'd gone to see it in IMAX somewhere, as I bet that's incredible.
