The neighbour's cat has completely destroyed my flower bed despite putting down lots of strong smelling cat repellent pellets. I'll have to plant new flowers in the spring and get a motion sensor installed which emits a high pitch that cats can't tolerate. I'm just upset because of the amount of work myself and the OH put in planting and caring for the flowers in the first place.

Footpaths were lethal with ice this morning on the way to the shop. I hate that sudden "heart in mouth" fright you get when you skid on the ice and almost lose your footing...especially when you've just spent a few months on crutches.

They never grit the small pathways around here because they aren't on a bus route or popular road (school road, pedestrian walkway etc) :(

Got my booster yesterday. I knew loads of people had really bad side effects from it, but foolishly presumed I'd be graaaand as I sailed through the first two. Nope. Lay all day curled up on the couch feeling like I'd been shot in the arm and had broken glass poured into all my joints.

Getting a new kitchen this week so clearing out the cupboards of food, utensils etc. No matter how many times I declutter during the year I still manage to have a pile of "junk"

My back fence just blew down. That'll be several hundred quid to fix/replace. Thanks, Dudley, Eunice or Franklin!

Oh, there's another annoyance, why do they give storms silly bloody names!!

Couriers delivering at weekends, and no apparent way of switching the delivery date to Monday. Very often there's nobody home during the daytime at weekends, meaning neighbours have to take in packages. They are OK about doing that but I'd much rather not have to do this very often.

After 2 days fighting an invasion of ants, I spent £30 quid online for countermeasures.

I'm sure the wee shites heard me click send as I've not seen one since.
