On behalf of my husband

Beeping appliances. We moved in to a new house last year, and the built in appliances all bleep. The washing machine, dishwasher and tumble dryer all bleep, and the fridge bleeps if you leave it open too long. The poor man is being driven mad by bleeping :ROFLMAO:

Spent over an hour on Thursday morning chatting with a Vodafone advisor online to renew my broadband contract. Agreed a new, better but cheaper deal with new equipment turn got passed to three other departments because none of them could finalise my order. The final advisor told me there was a fault with their system and I'd need to contact them again the next day.

So I did. Got cutoff halfway through the process, so got in touch with them again later in the day. I then had to argue with them to get the same deal I had previously been offered. Luckily, I had the details saved. The ordered was then finalised.

Got a message last night saying they had my equipment and it would be delivered on Monday. So went away to work only to receive another message from DPD saying the equipment would be delivered today between x and y hours, so I had to arrange from someone to be at my house for the delivery. Just received another text from D0D to say they couldn't deliver my parcel as they couldn't find my address and it will be delivered tomorrow! Tomorrow I've got classes all day!!

😡

The word 'spooktacular'

Everywhere I look they are having a spooktacular. In Greggs, at the leisure centre, at work, schools, offices, carpet warehouses. Spooktaculars everywhere.

Since when did Halloween become such a celebrated event?
