Jess Someplace you do use and has your mobile got hacked? Someone phished you at some point and got the number? There's an assortment of ways it can be done. Random dialler, even. Just pick an area code and send a text to every numerically possible number in that area code. You'll get lots of errors from non-existent numbers or landlines, but you'll also get enough hits that actually respond to get some useful data out of it. I've had email spam from banks that I have never done business with so it is certainly not uncommon.And, yes, spammer, phishers, and other such creeps are definitely on my annoyance list. The amount of time my support team (I am an IT manager) spend on people reporting spam and phishing attacks is ridiculous, not to mention the time spent on user education to make sure the phishing attacks fail.
People not turning up to online meetings. Because I have nothing better to do at one of the busiest times of our work year than to sit staring at a blank screen. Extra annoying because it's sunny outside.

So I fired off a meeting invite to a bunch of people, both internal and external, at work today. For some reason, the acceptance from one of them keeps coming over and over. "Damn it!" I scream, "I know he's coming!" But still they come.
