Late to the game but just finished Where the Crawdads Sing. LOVED it!

I'm about halfway through Slade House by David Mitchell. I remember loving Bone Clocks and I'm enjoying this so far too. There's something about his style of writing I really enjoy.

I'm just finished reading Stephen King's "The Stand" for the first time - the revised, extended version. It was great, but so long. Its the first of his books I've read in many years.

Now I'm reading Thirteen by Steve Cavanagh. I'm not loving it, it's just not particularly well written and the twists are very predictable.

The Cartiers: The Untold Story of the Family Behind the Jewelry Empire by Francesca Cartier Brickell

Dune by Frank Herbert. I took a course in science fiction literature when I was in college many years ago. I found it while going through some things that had been stored away. Since there is another adaptation coming to the big screen this December, I thought I'd reread it. It's still one of the best science fiction books I've ever read. I hope the new film does it justice.

Finished Leonard and Hungry Paul. Not sure what all the hype is about. It's an easy read but there's no substance to the story. The characters are quite charismatic though.

Next up is the Audible version of Dervla McTiernan's new book, The Good Turn. She usually delivers a good story.

Last night I started Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel and already I'm enjoying it.

It's about a deadly flu pandemic, so, you know, why not?

Just started Get a Life, Chloe Brown. Liking it so far! I had started an ebook version of Yellow Wallpaper (a short story) but the version I got from the kindle store was a disaster, full blocks of sentences missing so impossible to follow.

Giving the audiobook of The Good Thief's Guide To Amsterdam a whirl. I've read it before, but long enough ago that it's almost as good as something new.

Finished My Dark Vanessa this morning. Really disturbing but gripping read, awesome for a debut novel.
