Since we have an annoyance/rant thread we may as well have one for happy/smiley stuff.

I've just been listening to Easy FM and they played Don't Marry Her from the Beautiful South. Except they played the album version that goes "Don't marry her, f*ck me" instead of "Don't marry her, have me" and "sweaty bollocks" instead of "Sandra Bullocks" ?

Spent today trying to make my family tree. I got it as far back as 1821 on one side of my family. Now to fill in the rest.

I also spent hours looking through old photos my mam has of my dad, who passed away when I was 11 and of my granny. Love old photos!

I was described as "very nice but quarrelsome" today. As an optimist, I'll just ignore the last bit ?

A feeling of satisfaction having done my meal prep earlier (which are now all sitting in the freezer) and having a content belly after a delicious dinner and dessert (Magnum's Chocolate Ganache).

Five neighbours brought out chairs to the front garden and we had a fabulous chat at 2 metres apart . Covid is a real bitch but it taught us a lot too
