Brewdog Punk IPA tonight. Had a starter of a Hobgoblin Gold - wish I had more.

Had a couple of Auld Lang Zealand (ABV 7.1%) from s43 yesterday. Very nice.

Brewed with 5 different New Zealand hops including Nelson Sauvin, this hazy IPA is fruity and juicy from the get-go but also showcases the unique piney, grassy, and earthy qualities of NZ hops. A beautiful balance of juicy hops, fruity esters and bitterness.

I had Vocation X BrewYork's Chocolate Caramel Stout tonight. Like a liquid pudding. 6.6% ABV and you could tell.

Very nice but I'm not sure I'd have more than one in one sitting.

I'm drinking John Smiths Extra Smooth - but only because I got them reduced (honest!) ?

Box of 18 for £7.50 just because the external box was slightly damaged..

Had a couple of Pineapple Express by Almasty watching the football last night. Knocking it out of the park again, quickly becoming one of my favourite breweries. Wish I'd bought more than a couple though. Nowhere near the level of pineapple that's in the Tiny Rebel or S43 ones, it's more a name in a series of beers than an adjunct. Up there with Auld Lang Zealand for me.

A 12% ABV imperial stout by Northern Monk called Death. Going down a treat, thankfully, I've got another 5 to drink ? ?

Drinking one of them Buxton/Omnipollo Lemon Meringue Pie cans from Tesco. It's ok but there's a specific taste that's putting me off a bit.

Electric Boogaloo from Tiny Rebel. A passion fruit NEIPA with ABV 4.5%.

Went down a treat last night. Had 4 cans. Ordered another dozen.

First day the pubs have been open since Christmas week. I had some Maple Pancake Pale from Fierce. It's bloody lovely having some nice beers out again. Even let it slide that it's in a plastic glass!
