My daughter at age 4 once yelled "pick a lane dickhead" at a motorist on a dual carriage way.

I have no idea where she could of heard that ?

Little one woke in the middle of the night. She cuddled into me and said mommy, I love you and went back to sleep. Was worth being woken at 4am for.

Got my little girl the biggest Kevin the Carrot, put it in the car and collected her my mum.

It's bigger than her but she tries to carry it everywhere.

She tells me she needs a double bed now cause Kevin pushes her out.

Little lady was pulling a small suitcase we had in the hall, I asked her where are you going. Looked up at me and without hesitation, like I'd asked a stupid question, she said London!! She's 3!!

My three-year-old daughter has had a runny nose for the past few days. The skin under her nose is red and definitely painful because she just said her moustache hurts.

This made me laugh out loud. Some of the things they come out with is hilarious.

Mini-me was trying to convince me to stop making the dinner and crack open a bottle of bubbles for her. Being all coy she started saying that "bubbles make me happy mummy"

Trying to be smart I tried to distract her by asking what else makes her happy - I got the usual Dora, Peppa, chocolate etc.

I asked her what she thought makes me happy, hoping for something along the lines of "Me! I make you happy"

"Cleaning" was her reply ?

I need to get me a life!

Was at the park yesterday evening and ice cream van was there so we had to buy one.

Sitting down eating it on bench and my now four year old pipes up "Ah this is the life"

Putting my 4 year old to bed the other night, tucked her in and sat at the side of the bed continuing the story we've been reading. About 30 seconds or so in and she pipes up:

"We didn't get a hug or a kiss". Cue a hug and seven kisses.
She asks "How many kisses was that?"
I say seven and she says "seven".
I say "it was lovely" and she says "you're very welcome tata".

I'm loving the manners at the moment. Lots of please and thank you, which just seems to have started from nowhere.

I've mainly worn joggers or trousers around the house during lockdown but this morning I put on a maxi-dress because I was going out to meet up with some girlfriends.

My 4 year old looked at me and said "mummy pretty".

Melting heart alert!!! ?
