Yes we've had snow, but very intermittent and it hasn't particularly troubled the roads this time around. I'm quite disappointed, I thought I was going to get at least one evening off work from Tesco! ?

My phone alerts said out temperature was -19°C last night but the local news had it at -22.9°C, our coldest night for more than 25 years.

It was supposed to be -14°C during the night in Milngavie and around -11°C this morning when I was out with Mica but it didn't feel like it was overly cold. I've felt colder earlier in the week.

Did it feel that cold?

No, it didn't. It has felt colder the last couple of days when the temperatures have been around -8°C but there has been a biting wind factored in.

Barmy weather in Milngavie. Gone from -7°C at this time on Friday morning to 5°C with temperatures to reach 9 or 10°C during the day. Inevitably, higher temperatures bring rain. Give me freezing cold any day!

Cold with occasional light snow. Supposed to be getting 15-25cm but that seems to be happening tonight rather than daytime.

And Gemma Gemma, the saying here in Canada is that at least you don't have to shovel rain. ?

Been freezing all day with temperatures barely reaching 5°C and -4°C forecast tonight. Been made much colder by gale force winds too. Oh, there were snow and hail showers earlier too.
