My PC isn't compatible apparently, due to my i5-7400 3.0Ghz CPU not meeting the requirements. Am I doomed to windows 10 forever or will I be able to install it eventually?

It seems the introduction by Microsoft of Windows 11 is causing rather a stir and the requirements to actually install it. even my newer laptop does not meet these requirements let alone my gaming desktop. Getting in spec for Windows 11 seems a lot of cash will need to be spent by owners to pass the requirements needed. So has MS made another blunder like they did with Windows 2000, 8 and a few other releases.

The way it is right now I am seriously thinking of taking my laptop over to LynxOS.

I have however also found a workaround to be able to install Windows 11 on non supported hardware and from what I am reading this seems to be working. The thing here is who know that maybe in a few Windows 11 updates your installation might just stop working. I hate having any of my computers operating out of spec.
