On the occasions that I do happen to pick up a scam call and the question is asked, I always reply politely with "Who is calling him, please?" as if I were his secretary or the like. This compels them either to reveal what they are calling about...

I have the dual set cordless connected to Virgin Media.I'm not sure anyone else knows the number other than me and my wife. My 7 year old uses the handset to ring me on mobile when she has trouble with mummy :LOL:
Netflix and Amazon. They fill the gaps that Sky leave.
The Dark Sky app is available for Android until August 1st (it should have been until July 1st) and the API will continue to provide data for other apps until the end of 2021.
Sky may well be the best overall but their price for the full package is ridiculous. I cancelled the Sports and Movies packages last year and have used Now TV day passes for a few sporting events that have interested me and Netflix/Amazon Prime Video for my entertainment needs.

I still watch the odd film on my Blu-Ray player. I sometimes just fancy seeing a particular film and remember that I have it in my collection.
There seem to be less and less new films that float my boat.

I've blacklisted Virgin for their dodgy business practices - door-to-door sales, cancellation issues, monopoly in poorer areas.
Sky can be very expensive if you're out of contract, but generally you can get some pretty good deals and I've always found their call agents to be friendly.
I think you can download content from the BBC iPlayer to watch later?
I'd be very surprised if they truly delete all the data that they hold.
You can turn off the read receipts in the settings, meaning that you won’t show blue ticks to anyone and they won’t know if you’ve read their message. As a trade-off, you won’t see blue ticks on any messages you send to other people even if they’re read either.
The above only applies to 1 on 1 chat and not to groups. You can’t hide that you’ve read a group message.
