Absolutely loved the Spectrum. All my mates got them at Christmas. By the following Christmas I was getting all the extras, proper keyboard, dk tronics light pen, currah speech synthesiser. Brings back fantastic childhood memories. Spending days at a time playing games with not a care in the world. RIP Sir Clive you inspired a generation.

Another vote for Sonos. The sound is very good, and the ability to play together/separately from numerous devices (phones) just makes it all very simple. We've got a Beam then 3 other various Play speakers around the house. Some frustration with some connectivity, but this is one particular speaker and probably WiFi related. I had Bose before and I'd say the sound quality is on a par.

Always been a range of quality ever since MP3 was created. The amount of data per second that you encoded did make a difference. Then they created lossless codecs that kepts the original quality but still reduced the overall size. This is, what I expect, is what they're calling "HD" audio

I'll never understand the attraction with Facebook. People go out of their way to protect their privacy, shred documents with names/addresses etc but they do think twice about posting photos of themselves, their children, their house etc and details about their life. It is just asking for trouble.

First they increase the price even after a massive surge in revenues and now this. cnuts. I have the higher subscription level so as to enable 4K, and I’ve got 3 other people for whom I’ve created profiles and shared the password. If I get a code via text I’ll just give them the code.

I recent started using Edge as my main browser. I like the collections and vertical tabs features and it was one of the first browsers I'd used that allowed you to pin tabs. Been very impressed with it so far.

Sky and Amazon have bought into the season of goodwill by making their apps available on each other's streaming platforms. As of today, you can watch Amazon Prime Video on Sky, and Sky's Now TV service on Amazon Fire TV devices. The move is part of a long-term partnership between the two firms. In Europe, the Amazon Prime Video app will launch on Sky Q, Sky Ticket and Now TV devices. Also for the first time, the Now TV app will be available on select Fire TV devices and Fire TV Edition smart TV. Now you can watch Amazon prime Football on Sky Q. Thought some of you might be interested in this information.

I don't use Paypal heavily, but I do pay a number of accounts for my board and my personal use out of it so I login a few times a year. Shouldn't be a problem. Frankly, if I stopped using it for anything, I would likely look at retiring it (not sure how you do that).
