Hamilton (2020) Movie Thread

I went to see this in London (obviously a few months ago). At the time I thought to myself, "I've got to sit through 3 hours of rap shite", I was blown away. It was amazing. It's on Disney Plus now, well worth a watch.

It's utterly incredible. Been lucky enough to see it in London too. Definitely worth a watch over the weekend.

Mrs Pinion made me book tickets for it last year and I assumed it was going to be some completely over-hyped hipster nonsense given the gushing that was going on about it. Played the soundtrack in the car the week before we went and realised I was completely wrong. It's probably the best musical I've ever seen although the second half is definitely weaker than the first. Americans probably find it more interesting though.

Went to see it with the original cast back in early 2016 in NYC. Very fortunate.

Been to see it in London a year or so ago too.

My daughter had been looking forward to it all week. I agreed we'd watch it together last night. I was hoping to hate it but thought it was amazing.

I've watched this about 6 times now. One of the best productions I've ever seen. Just spectacular. Love it.
