Red Dead Redemption 2
America, 1899.

Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are outlaws on the run. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him.

Now featuring additional Story Mode content and a fully-featured Photo Mode, Red Dead Redemption 2 also includes free access to the shared living world of Red Dead Online, where players take on an array of roles to carve their own unique path on the frontier as they track wanted criminals as a Bounty Hunter, create a business as a Trader, unearth exotic treasures as a Collector or run an underground distillery as a Moonshiner and much more.

With all new graphical and technical enhancements for deeper immersion, Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC takes full advantage of the power of the PC to bring every corner of this massive, rich and detailed world to life including increased draw distances; higher quality global illumination and ambient occlusion for improved day and night lighting; improved reflections and deeper, higher resolution shadows at all distances; tessellated tree textures and improved grass and fur textures for added realism in every plant and animal.

The post raises an interesting question but lacks detail about the user's experience or specific aspects of online play they are curious about. Providing more context would enhance its relevance and clarity for the community.

Slowly getting through chapter 3 - what's the deal with online play? What do you get up to there?

You create your own player and do missions yourself or in a posse, things like a bounty hunter, collector, hunter or bootlegging alcohol.

There is also a multiplayer option to battle against other players.

Have you played GTA online? It's like that, but without cars to race around in.

Chapter 3 is a good time to slow down and get sidetracked, get some good pelts and whatnot.

Bought this on release. Didn't really get into it. Been playing through will in lockdown.

I didn't realise how good of a game it was until the end. Ended up starting it again, taking everything in.

The first few hours was a bit slow, but overall I really enjoyed it, one of those maps I just wanted to explore all of it before I actually made progress with the story. One of my favourites this gen.

I only tried online to check out the old RDR map, other than that I wasn't that interested in the multi-player.

My favourite game of all time. Just incredible.

Will there be a RDR3?

Highly doubt it now that Dan Houser is left Rockstar. I think RDR was his baby

Tbh, I see GTA 6 being the last real Rockstar game and they'll just keep adding to GTA online from then on

Yeah, true but disappointing.
