The nominees are out. Who should win?

Kevin De Bruyne and Trent Alexander-Arnold is the answer IMO. And Klopp for manager.

Player Of The Year:

De Bruyne (Man City)
J Henderson (Liverpool)
Mane (Liverpool)
Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)
Vardy (Leicester)
Pope (Burnley)
Ings (Southampton)

Young Player Of The Year:

Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)
Rashford (Man United)
Greenwood (Man United)
Martial (Man United)
Mount (Chelsea)
Grealish (Aston Villa)
D Henderson (Sheff United)
Pulisic (Chelsea)

Lampard, Rodgers, Wilder and Klopp nominated for manager of the year.

Dyche is really hard done by not to even get a nomination for me especially with what his team managed after the restart with such a limited squad.

Rodgers team collapsed after Christmas.

Rodgers and Lampard???

Rodgers has barely won a game since December and Lampard took a team that finished third with 72 points and improved them so much they finished 4th with 66!

Neither should be on there. If they think Lampard should be on it then surely Solskjaer should be ahead of him since they actually did improve their league position albeit without improving their points.

KDB and Trent

They really need to change the age limit or the number of appearances, Grealish, Rashford and Martial are around years.

Totally agree, they need to reevaluate what a "young" player is, Grealish will be 25 in a few weeks.

Raheem Sterling won it in his 8th Premier League season.

A young player should be nobody over the age of 20 tbh. A breakout player who bursts onto the scene.

I'd say something like 23 years old and a max number of senior appearances before the season started.

I'd argue that's too high. I mean as one example Rashford is 22 but he's been playing for years for Utd on the regular

He is experienced. I think it's relative he only features in the senior category at this stage

That's why I'd include the max appearances requirement, that'd exclude players in Rashford's position.

21 at the start of the season is old enough.

Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has been named Premier League Young Player of the Season for the 2019/20 campaign.

Alexander-Arnold, the only nominee also on the Player of the Year shortlist, was instrumental in Liverpool's title-winning season and recorded 13 assists - second only to Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne - as well as 14 clean sheets and four goals.

The 21-year-old England international beat Manchester United trio Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood for the Young Player award along with Chelsea duo Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic.
No real surprise there, well deserved.
