It's the only Cameron film I've yet to watch. I've always been put off by awful cgi but now with this blu ray it should be worth going back to.

It was amazing when it came out, but will probably not resonate like that in the present given how productions and audience expectations have evolved over the years.

It will be interesting to see if they tried to rework some of the CGI.

Most of Cameron's older work really holds up. There's only a few scenes from the Terminator films and Alien which look outdated. But even then there's a certain charm to the effect that don't work.
