Overview: The Targaryen dynasty is at the absolute apex of its power, with more than 15 dragons under their yoke. Most empires crumble from such heights. In the case of the Targaryens, their slow fall begins when King Viserys breaks with a century of tradition by naming his daughter Rhaenyra heir to the Iron Throne. But when Viserys later fathers a son, the court is shocked when Rhaenyra retains her status as his heir, and seeds of division sow friction across the realm.

Really good finale. The time-jumps were a little frustrating at times but overall a strong season & much closer to the earlier Game of Thrones seasons.

Interesting how neither of them could control their dragon at the end. I wonder if that'll be the case with the others too.

Thought that was a great episode.

Overall, it was a brilliant season of TV. HBO are just a cut above everyone else as always.

Great last episode, very enjoyable season overall. Vhagar's size compared to Arrax was hilarious, I wonder how much Daemon factored that in when he was counting up which side has more dragons.

Unfortunately looks like a long wait for season 2.

I thought the last couple of episodes were really good, it really geared up.

Thought that was a pretty good first episode of the new season. That final scene was tense.

Good start. Lots of excellent dialogue and some good cinematography.
