The post provides some pertinent information but lacks clarity on transfer window specifics and context about the situation. A bit more detail and a clear structure would enhance its value to the community.

Saw some rumblings earlier of Everton being interested in Ings. He'd be a terrific signing for Everton. He's a proper number 9 and leads the line very well. I think he would work well with Richarlison playing off of him. Then again Dominic Calvert-Lewin is there too.
I think his ceiling should be higher than Everton tbh. That's a sideway move. He's been phenomenal this season.

He doesn't start ahead of anyone in a team above or close to Everton in the league

Firmino
Aguero
Martial
Kane
Aubameyang/Lacazette
Jiminez
Vardy
Werner

Everton has a higher ceiling than Southampton and will probably pay him a lot more. Probably starts for Burnley but wages etc probably be less

The one there is probably Vardy. Nearly 34, and will have to start managing his games. Leicester plays two up every so often too. They need to start thinking about a successor to him, and Ings would be a good option.

Kind of expect him to stay at Southampton another season though.

Southampton took a chance on him, given his injury history. I think he knows that and is more than happy to repay them by staying with them.

Agree completely. Could definitely see him starting for Leicester in the future season. I was just more referring to this transfer window.

Dortmund have announced a 2 year loan deal for 18 year old Brazilian offensive player Reinier from Real Madrid, very similar to the deal they had for Hakimi.

Real Madrid bought Reinier for 30 million Euro from Flamengo last year and want him to get more playing time and experience at Dortmund

The Athletic reporting Chelsea in talks to sign Thiago Silva. It also looks like Chilwell to Chelsea is almost a done deal for £50m too.

I'm not looking forward to how good Chelsea are likely to be. Not sure about Silva but Chilwell would be a smart signing. Their squad is ridiculous.

The most amazing thing about them though is that they've given Marco van Ginkel yet another contract extension so he remains a Chelsea player. Chelsea has had more managers, and he's had more international caps for The Netherlands than he's had appearances in his 7 years at the club in all competitions for Chelsea. Bizarre.

100m deal for Havertz looks like it is agreed now
The German clubs showing the won't budge on there asking price for players. You pay what they ask or you don't get the player.

Chelsea are making a statement this transfer market after being banned from buying last year. They could have a front 6 lining up like this........

Jorginho --- Haverts --- Kante
Pulusic --- Werner --- Ziyech
