Has anyone else noticed how some people say they're turning to TV shows because they feel less violent and more "watchable" than films these days?
It got me thinking - are TV shows actually less violent than movies? Or does it just feel that way because we're watching episodes over time rather than in one big dose? Some shows are incredibly brutal (I'm thinking of shows like The Boys, Game of Thrones, Spartacus, and Narcos), while others feel safer and more family-friendly.
Do you think shows have toned it down compared to films? Or are we just experiencing it differently because of the format?
