The post provides a good overview of the game and its reception but lacks depth in analysis and personal insight. It would benefit from a more detailed discussion of the themes or gameplay aspects to engage the community more effectively.

The Last of Us Part 2 takes place four years after the original game, with Joel and Ellie living a semi-normal life in the walled-in town of Jackson. It's almost idyllic until the dastardly writers at Naughty Dog decide to smash it all to pieces, sending Ellie on a quest for revenge. Will it live up to the first game, which many consider to be among the best games of all time? Find out below.

Wow, just seen the reviews on Metacritic and noticed some are calling it possibly the best game of all time. I hold Naughty Dog up to a very high standard and not really surprised but honestly was a bit nervous over this one. Glad it seems to be another masterpiece like the first one.

Locked 1080p @ 30fps on base and 1440p @ 30fps on pro. Stable performances on both consoles with minor dips on Pro.

I have seen a few. I tend to look for the more critical reviews as nothing is ever perfect and I like to see some of the gripes and try to consider them in terms of my likes and types of games.

Everything I have seen tells me I am going to like this game. Counting down the days indeed.

I still haven't played the original, despite originally picking it up on PS3, and then on PS4 before it was given away on PS Plus.. ?

I'm starting to get a little bored by the repetition in the gameplay. Really like the first couple of hours but it has been tapering off for me ever since.

Same - I'm only a few hours in but the sections with infected are already repetitive and boring. The stealth and AI are pretty poor.

Visually it's very impressive and I'm loving the attention to detail, but the game isn't quite clicking for me yet.

Are you into Seattle long, or at all, yet? The combat with humans is better from what I've seen so far, plus new types of infected only show up later on.
