Great cast and the trailer looks good.

I can't deny I'm curious to see how Nolan handles what appears to be a more streamlined biopic, rather than the latter-day clockwork movies that were Dunkirk and Tenet. Certainly looks like Murphy might be gunning for an Awards worthy performance.

I actually think this could be a return to form for Nolan, the trailer has me interested.

Not that his form has been bad, it's just the last 2 films have been "decent" for me and he's set the bar high in expectations.

Looking forward to this, but in fairness, that's not the best trailer.

Looking forward to this.

I hated TENET...I really hope this is a return to form for Nolan.

Christopher Nolan says 'Oppenheimer' has a similar ending to 'Inception'.

"Oppenheimer's got a complicated ending. Complicated feelings." - Christopher Nolan via Wired

'Oppenheimer' has "zero" CGI shots according to director Christopher Nolan.

This is not the first instance of Nolan's expressed disinterest in CGI, however, this is a new challenge for the director to have to create the atomic bomb without the tool.

In order to create such a massive explosion without the use of CGI, the effects crew employed a traditional technique known as "Forced Perspective". This involves using scaled-down models filmed at angles that make them appear much larger.

Saw it today. Thought it was quite excellent. A slightly different focus than I think I expected but it's a very good movie.

Pretty good film but nothing amazing. He's made much better in the past.

Definitely could have cut out 30 minutes of the runtime. Most people probably stopped paying attention after the bomb went off.

I actually enjoyed the after the bomb sequences or more accurately perhaps the "after the bomb test" sequences. Until the test, the bomb belongs to the scientists and the technicians - after it they're more or less an irrelevance. The grey suits take over.
