Plenty of teams bringing updates this weekend.

Mercedes and Aston are two that definitely are.

Alfa Romero were meant to be but I believe that is on hold now due to cost issues.

Williams have an upgrade package as well this weekend (Aero, Floor and Bodywork).

Yes, lots of upgrades this weekend.

Mercedes: front suspension, sidepod inlet, floor, rearwing

Red Bull: front corner (calliper temperature management), engine cover, floor

Ferrari: engine cover, sidepod undercut revision, rear view mirrors, outboard stay redesign

Aston Martin vanes on top of sidepods, changes to the shape of floor fences, changes to the geometry of floor edge, revised beam wing and revised rear brake ducts.

Willams front wing, front corner, sidepod inlet, floor fences, floor body, halo, floor edge, diffuser, engine cover, cooling louvres, rear suspension, rear corner (Not sure if it is for both cars, but this list is long and probably should have just said new car)

Raining quite heavily during FP1

Good from Sainz, surprising from Hamilton. Looking forward to qualifying tomorrow.

Carlos Sainz grabs pole ahead of Verstappen.

Well done Carlos, fair play. I'm hoping for a dry race tomorrow so we can see the true pace of everyone.

Happy for Sainz to get his first pole.

I don't see Sainz holding Verstappen for long, he was pretty fast in most of the qualifying.

Hamilton in 5th is about right I think, Russell should have no problem getting past Alonso and Norris, so we could see a good race between the two Mercedes drivers.

Good showing from Zhou and Latifi.

Doesn't look like it will rain, but as anyone who has been to Silverstone knows, it could absolutely chuck it down any minute.

Hopefully, it does on the formation lap.

Apparently, it's gone from a 10% chance to a 60% chance of rain now. Gotta love the British weather
