With both championships already decided there is not much left to play for, some teams will be bringing their young drivers in for FP1 this weekend.

Alpha Tauri: Lawson, replacing Tsunoda
Williams: Sargeant, replacing Albon
Alpine: Doohan, replacing Ocon
Haas: Fittipaldi, replacing Magnussen

I'd like to see Perez win his home Grand Prix and also Vettel have a decent driver here as his career reaches the final few races.

Max on pole but third position is said to be the best starting position in this Grand Prix due to the long straight before turn one.

Easy win for Verstappen. Absolute snooze fest and a great way to waste an hour or two

Snoozefest. Verstappen had a great drive but it was clear as day the medium could last the distance and the hard tires were the wrong choice. Very surprised Mercedes weren't more aggressively going for it - that car has pace around here.

More disappointing is the Ferraris - as anonymous as it's possible to be during a race. What a damp squib of an end to the season it's looking like for them.

The best thing today was seeing Danny Ricciardo driving the wheels off the McLaren! Nice to see a positive race from him for a change.
