For a top team, the Mercedes have never been elite when it comes to pit stops. When you spend millions on tiny parts for a tenth of a second, when wouldn't you prioritise saving a couple of seconds a race per driver by getting your pit crew well drilled?
So both Ferraris and Perez didn't pit?
