I thought this looked familiar.

BBC4 aired some adaptations of the Department Q novels in the original Danish. This is the first English language version; the action moves to Scotland.

This looks so good.

A nice twist at the end of episode 1 - it draws you in.

Binged on this over the weekend. I thought it was excellent. Some fantastic characters, but nothing felt forced. And the plot had me hooked from start to finish. Fingers crossed for a second season.

Finished it yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyable throughout and a really good finale. Hope it gets a second season.

One of the best detective series I've watched in a while. Think it helped that the main character was a bit of an arse - his personality suited the show and it also made his two sidekicks more likeable.
