This is starting to get good, like that this could be a story set in any time and space. A spy story with some interesting characters.

Agreed. It's good there is space in the Star Wars universe on the screen to tell stories without Jedi and Sith.

Though I am looking forward to The Acolyte (Sith-based show) and the High Republic shows whenever they get released in the next few years.

I thought this episode was great, really good bonding. It's starting to pick up for sure.

This was a slow one but I enjoyed it but it felt very like a bridging episode, some nice character stuff I especially liked the rather mundane Syril Karn scenes with his mother. Nice to get a glimpse inside of the base.

I like how they're taking their time to show the extent of the injustice, abuse and brutality the Empire imposed on ordinary people. You get a real sense of just how evil everyone in the Empire is with this show, beyond Palpatine and Darth Vader.

I like how they show the darker side of the rebellion too. How they know that regular people will suffer with what they are doing and face harsh retaliation. Regular people getting rounded up etc, increased military state. But, obviously, they are doing it before the Empire gets too powerful to ever change anything. That part is done really effectively here.

That was hands down the best 45 minutes or so of telly I have watched in a long, long time. Edge of your seat stuff. Excellent.

The final episode didn't have as many set pieces as the previous episodes, but it had the tension level at 150%, and the careful watching of the previous 11 episodes had payoffs on many fronts in my view.
