7/10

The post offers a personal review that is reasonably clear and relevant, but it could benefit from more detailed insights into specific gameplay mechanics. Overall, it's helpful but lacks depth on certain aspects of the game.

Got this last month in a sale, and its a massive step up for the series. A solid 9/10 for me.

The world is class, really beautiful, each region feels a bit different, the sea combat is a nice simple addition but a bit repetitive.

My only minor gripes are, once you get used to the combat system within the 1st hour that is sort of the game mastered. The most useful new abilities are unlocked in the first few hours and that's sort of it too. Would like to see a little more progression in the combat system as the game goes on.

I've only played it got a couple of hours, I really need to revisit it. I seem to lose interest in Assassin's Creed games rather easily, the only one I've played right through is AC2 :(

When I played this, I had to try and ignore the side missions as I was making no headway at all at the main story, not that that's a bad thing I suppose. There's a massive amount of content when you include all the DLC.

I didn't bother with Atlantis as I'd no interest in fighting Medusa or any of the others. Legacy started off strong I thought, then the invisible fight did my head in and never came back after beating it. Pity really as I had 150 odd hours invested into it.

I found the world in Origins so much more interesting, to be honest. Odyssey is definitely the better game, but I missed the vast scale of the desert in Origins. I'm aware that Odyssey has a bigger world, but a lot of it is the ocean, and there was never an area of the game that made me feel I'm all alone, with no one around for miles.
