Xbox Games Showcase 2026: What to Expect Xbox

Hey everyone! It's that time of year again - June is just around the corner, and with it comes the highly anticipated Xbox Games Showcase for 2026. This event is a massive deal for all Xbox enthusiasts, as it's when we can expect some of the most exciting announcements for the year ahead.

The Xbox Games Showcase has a start time of 10am PDT / 1pm EDT / 6pm BST / 7pm CEST on June 7th.

Here's the list of Xbox Showcase times for each region:

• North America: 10am PDT / 11am MDT / 12pm CDT / 1pm EDT
• UK/Ire: 6pm BST
• Europe: 7pm CEST / 8pm EEST
• Asia/Oceania: 2am (Mon) JST / 1am (Mon) AWST / 3am (Mon) AEST
• Your Local Time: 6pm, Sun 7th Jun 2026 British Summer Time

What Can We Expect?
While we don't have all the juicy details yet, at the time of writing, the only confirmed game for the showcase so far is Gears of War: E-Day, which is the featured game in the 'Direct' part of the event. That Gears of War: E-Day Direct will follow the main broadcast.

Here are a few things we might see at the showcase:

• New game trailers and gameplay footage
• Updates on highly anticipated titles
• Possible surprises and unexpected announcements
• Insights into future Xbox hardware or services

We already know what to expect from some of it, such as new reveals for the likes of Fable, Gears of War: E-Day, Halo: Campaign Evolved and the next Call of Duty game, but there's nothing particularly surprising in that bunch.

In terms of leaks, rumours and unconfirmed appearances for the event so far, things have been very quiet this year, we must admit. There's a chance that we see/hear more about Project Helix here, but that chance seems very slim right now, based on what we know about the device and its release schedule thus far.

In terms of everything else, who knows! We're open to being surprised and would love to see the majority of the event stay under wraps until we all see it live.

Given the trends from past showcases, it's likely that we'll see plenty of big-name franchises making a return, along with maybe some fresh surprises that we didn't see coming!

The Xbox Games Showcase 2026 made for one of the most interesting shows of recent memory with plenty of new games in the mix. It's all made up part of an exciting Summer Game Fest schedule with big reveals and new information on long-awaited blockbuster games. With former leading figures Phil Spencer and Sarah Bond out, and new boss Asha Sharma in, this could be a statement of intent for Xbox's future.
