UEFA has announced the away goal rule will be a thing of the past from next season in all of their competitions.
Tied matches will instead go to extra time and penalties, if needed, rather than have the possibility of ending after two legs due to the away goal rule.
The decision has split supporters with many fans of the belief that UEFA did not need to scrap the rule for the betterment of the game.
