A German series about Berlin in the 1920s. Mix of all kind of elements: Political with the Weimarer Republik struggling, cultural, crime, psychological as in how soldiers of WW1 were struggling with PTSD while ignored by society.

The main plot is about a police detective sent to Berlin to investigate a porn ring run by the Russian mafia who're blackmailing the major of Cologne (later German chancellor Adenauer). It's also about the rise of the right wing, about a Trotsky conspiracy trying to bring down Stalin etc.
