It's the worst thing ever. I got stuck down with gastroenteritis on Christmas Eve where I ended up on a drip on Boxing Day.

I'm out now but still nowhere near right and Christmas this year has just been a complete write off.

I felt a bit iffy over Christmas too. Went back to work on 27th but turns out I've got Covid.

Never had it before, so didn't recognise the symptoms.

I just feel knackered all the time, but can't really get a decent period of sleep

Loads of people at work were struggling with heavy colds and flu like symptoms.

The cold I had lasted 3 weeks and only just lifted last Friday.

Caught my first cold in ages this week, started with a sore throat on Christmas Day (which is still there now), my voice is deep and croaky, and I'm sneezing and coughing too.

Thankfully its not covid again as I did a test. It's always the same when I mix with people at festive events, should stick with being anti social!

Your illness sounds a lot worse than mine Ghost. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Finally feeling better after missing out on the whole of Christmas and New Year.

Recovered just in time to go back to work
