We're in the second half of the year and there are still some blockbuster games scheduled for release this year, not to mention the arrival of the next-gen consoles. Some titles maybe delayed but here's a list of what is scheduled and when for the remainder of 2020.
June
The worldwide release of Valorant kicks June off, before the long-awaited Command & Conquer remaster drops a couple of days later. June is also the release month for The Last of Us Part 2 - arguably its biggest game. Desperados 3 and the Switch port of The Outer Worlds will, too, be doing the business in June.
July brings us yet another PS4 exclusive in Ghost of Tsushima. It is once again the biggest game of the month, but let's not forget the PC release of Death Stranding, the Trackmania remake, F1 2020 and the Early Access launch of Obsidian's Grounded.
Summer continues to rage on, but that also means we're getting closer to the very busy late-2020 period. Until then, though, we'll have Wasteland 3, Mafia: Definitive Edition, Amazon's New World MMO, and Fast & Furious: Crossroads to keep us entertained in August.
While the games below do not yet have solid release dates, their creators are hoping to put them out around either spring or summer. This section covers the June – September period, including Q3.
Holiday 2020 is a special time not just because of the festivities, but also because it's a start of a new console generation. Launch games and the consoles themselves should eat up this period, to say nothing of re-releases and the like.
