Lots of fun, great period detail, amazing soundtrack, exceptional performance from Emma Thompson BUT it has about four acts. It feels like a condensed series at times rather than a movie. I went from loving what I was seeing in the middle of the film to hoping it would wrap up to halt my declining admiration for it.

Enjoyable, but could've used a tough edit.

Watched it this evening, really enjoyed it and the two Emma's nailed their respective roles IMO

I am skeptical of the whole "Disney villain origin story" genre that the Mouse House seems to have cooked up but the cast looks terrific. I love both Emmas from other things I have seen them in.

I really enjoyed the film but her character at the end of this movie would have you wondering how she turned into the monster who skins puppies alive in the original film. In fact, this Cruella appears to be very enamoured of dogs, not someone who would ever conceive of doing such a barbaric thing.

It was the the one jarring aspect of the plot for me.
