We've just finished this series. I'd highly recommend it to anyone, it is one of the best series I've ever watched. I knew some of the story about this but I didn't realise how bad it was. Absolutely terrifying stuff. It's the type of thing that if it was fictional it would be dismissed as being too farfetched.

Brilliant series.

Have to give it up to the actor playing Richard Sackler. It's terrific performances all around, but his portrayal stands up there with the best, in my opinion. His speech at the very start about the creation of a new drug for the treatment of moderate and chronic pain reminded me of There Will Be Blood and Daniel Plainview's, "I'm an oil man..." speech.

On the surface, it sounds like it's an intention to make the world better, but it doesn't take much insight to sense the great evil and greed behind the words.

Yes, it is fantastic.

Michael Stuhlbarg is fantastic as Richard Sackler.

The whole series just got progressively better with each episode. Right up there with Chernobyl for me as the best I've seen in a while.

Brilliant show. I thought Michael Keaton, Michael Stuhlbarg and Kaitlyn Dever stood out but the whole cast were exceptional.

A frightening story, I had no idea that this had occurred.

Yes, this was an eye-opener but really fantastic series.

I can't believe that children's oxy was ever even an idea and I'm completely horrified by the concept and I can't let my mind even wander down that path. Was that real or was that for dramatic effect?

I know I'm late as always, but just finished this and really liked it.

Just finished this last week. Would highly recommend, great acting. A very sad story. But it was frightening to see how easily they were addicted and how hard to come off it.

If you haven't seen it, it's starting on tonight (April 28) on BBC2 at 10pm, it seems to be double episodes.
