I didn't know this was a thing. It does have a decent cast.

Does this element of the Dune world interest people?

Looks much smaller scale than the movies but am still intrigued

The first episode is available.

It was an ok start. The production design is its strongest aspect so far. I wasn't overly impressed with the performances. It all felt relatively flat and the story itself hasn't gripped me yet but it is early days so I'll persevere.

The characters aren't very interesting, but it is just one episode. Otherwise, a great start, in my opinion.

I enjoyed that first episode. To be honest, the episode grew on me after a dicey first half hour.

I saw a review of it as being 'boring' and I think because the pacing is reflective of the film it may struggle a little bit with an audience. I liked it, myself, but then again I like complicated stories that are trying to find their feet.

It's a little flawed, but I expected that.

As much as I'm a fan of the Dune books who also really enjoyed the Villeneuve movies I'm not sure about this. Just being in the Dune universe will not be enough to woo me, this has to pick up or I can't see myself continuing.

Finding this bland and ponderous and without character at the moment. Plus, it all feels so familiar. Hopefully it will pick up soon.
