Despite the name change, you can expect all the parts of previous FIFA games in the package including Ultimate Team, Nike Ultimate Team, Manager and Player Career and much more.

And this year, EA is showing off its new HyperMotionV. The new game tech captures the game as it's truly played, using volumetric data from 180+ pro men's and women's matches to ensure movement in-game accurately reflects real-world action on the pitch.

I'm playing the 10hr trial via Game Pass/EA Play

Menus are a bit shit, music doesn't seem great either but I do kinda like the inclusion of women on the UT mode. They add more options I guess.

Gameplay isn't too bad but it will obviously change. Keepers are rubbish though and I keep getting frozen screens on the transfer market etc. Bugs everywhere.

Not really paid any attention to this but let me guess...

Lots of new bells and whistles for ultimate team, but career mode is exactly the same as it was ten years ago?

Seems to be quite buggy!

Career mode menus are broken. Training plans are bugged so I've got players who I'm trying to get back fit who I'm receiving emails about their sharpness now being full.

It's also bugging by not displaying information correctly.

On top of that defending just seems awful this season at both ends. AI goes from either being completely useless or impenetrable on a whim. As for my defenders some despite using jockey just allow players to blaze past them.

Haven't played since FIFA 21 and it's the same game just a little bit worse.

Even worse than that, can't find a match in friendlies, and matchmaking in rivals takes an eternity. Is this dead already this year?

Has this improved since its release? It is currently selling at £27 and I'm tempted.

The game has become playable for me since the update.
