I've done a bit of googling, and I can't find any evidence that they have done anything to the actual gameplay.

Or any remotely substantial improvements / changes on career mode?

Am I wrong? I know they added the thing where you can start a career mode at any given time. Not a fan of that myself.

I've only played a few hours of the trial but the career mode menus are absolutely horrific and terrible to navigate. You don't get notifications and it is buggy as hell.

The scouting pages also don't work properly.

Another annoyance, on your UT squad page, when trying to send a player to squad or whatever, having to welly the button to select the given option

Same as when doing contract talks with a player in the career mode. Why it is not a fluid one-click is beyond me.

I only play Career Mode, nothing online, but Career Mode has definitely improved.

It was absolutely fine how it was. They just change it to make it seem improved and justify charging the price they do.

It definitely isn't a £50/60 game.

Thinking of picking this up.

Couple of questions for those that have it - In career mode, if scouting is turned off, can you just search players via overall ability? I can never be bothered with the scouting aspect.

Also, if transfers are set to realistic or hard, what is that like? E.g if you are Man Utd, what's it like trying to sign Cole Palmer (or similar) on these modes if anyone has?
