Currently managing Southport in my game.

I'm ready to tackle the National League, spent the past few days navigating the summer window. It was a lot of work. Signed one player I had on loan last season and apart from him, there's 21 new players. 6 loans, 15 free transfers.

Put together a fairly nice squad. Last season Genie Scout reckoned I had the strongest team in my division and we won it, this time 2nd so we should be in contention again. Board wants mid-table and that should be easy enough.

Got a cracking side at Sparta now bought Sergio Gomez for £2.5m. Also tied Hldozek down to a new contract with no release clause
That is a ridiculously good team like. What season are you in?

When I'm in a poorer league, I can often get good players but if they're superstars like Olmo or Arezo they'd be taken from me by a European giant after a season.

Won the league in my 3rd season with Everton. Knew I could do it. Funnily enough, Moise Kean (after me praising him constantly) has become really shit. Went from 31 goals in season one to 33 goals the following campaign but now in our championship season he only found the net 11 times and I'm not sure why he only scored 11 goals. He's like a completely different player and has stopped growing even though he's only had small injuries so not sure what's happening there.

You tell me that after I have just bought him permanently. Congrats in the league win though.

Another 10 games, another 20 points. Did go top at one point but just for one game. Looking like it will just be a 2 horse race now.

Lost 4-3 in the FA Cup to WBA which was a good showing and am also out of the FA Trophy. Did have many injuries/suspensions and that's all clearing up now so we can focus on the league.

Got an unexpected bid for the one player I had out on loan. Tried to sell him for nothing in the summer and had no takers, and the only loan move I could get for him to League Two Macclesfield involved me paying all his wages. Took it as he wouldn't feature and now with just a few months left on his contract Doncaster want to pay £38.5k for him to move in the summer. Not a huge windfall, will pay about 2 weeks of squad wages but it's welcome!

Just started our 4th season mate never dreamt of having a side for Sparta like this so early. Made £21m on sales in the first season sold Kanga £13m and Tetteh for £4.6m both to China Fortuna giving us the funds for the likes of Almada, Matheson and Palacios (all moved on now)

Will be impossible to keep hold of Arezo, Olmo, Gomez, Hlozek from a wages point of view going to enjoy them while I can good thing only Gomez has a release clause in his contract so when the big boys do come they can pay top dollar

I decided to go back to the lower levels of English football for a new save. The Evostik Premier League to be exact to manage Whitby Town.

Playing a very basic 4-4-2 which is tailored to my players and their specific strengths and I think it's doing pretty well. I was watching some stuff about set-pieces the other day (Which is kinda what inspired me to start a new save) and I think they are pretty solid so far. My main concern was wanting to be very solid from set-pieces. We're pretty good offensively as it happens too.

I forgot how much of a slog LLM is, not done a save like it for years. It's going well though. 14 games into the league and we sit 2nd, 3 points behind Stalybridge who I am literally about to play away from home. We're also into the FA Trophy 1st Round and managed to get to the FA Cup 1st Round too which was nice for the finances. Went from -20k to having 5k in the balance
Found a really nice young player who unusually in the first season is a newgen. He just popped up when I asked my DOF to give me some free transfer suggestions.

I'm very happy with him for two reasons. First, he's playing really well and is my best RM and secondly, I think I might be able to cash in on him at some point and get us out of inevitable debt. But that's just what LLM is like until you start getting to the top few tiers of English football.

Anyway onto Stalybridge!

He is ridiculous for that level!!

Sorry mate :(

I was a bit annoyed too, I wanted to try and make him our record top scorer but doubt that will happen now. He's still very good of course but I have Fabio Silva now (the Porto youngster) that is edging him out slowly and turning him into my back up. He's performing better now in my 4th season with a 1 in 2 record but not nearly like the first 2 seasons for me where he basically had a 1 in 1 ratio.

Well in on your achievements too, time to end that Ajax for good.

Anyone I bring into Hungary wants a release clause like (though I should be able to ramp them up when I get in the Champions League). Just starting my 3rd season at Vasas. Porto, Lazio and Juventus came in for my best 3 players so I lost them all (though I managed to get my star midfielder on loan for an extra year). But I did well money-wise, £9m upfront for them which will rise to about £15m then big sell on clauses for each. Then I went to Africa and filled up my foreign contingent with 3 key youngsters. All have release fees as well, but they will hopefully see me get European football next season. I spent the rest another couple of million bringing in 2 very good Hungarian talents a well, one 17, one 19 and both good enough for my first team.

So in all, I've turned a £7m profit (plus future sell-on fees), I had enough in the bank to upgrade my youth and training set up again and marginally strengthened my team as well. Looking forward to this season.

I've started a training experiment. Gonna train all players in what I think are the most well-rounded roles.

GK - SK(A)
FB - CWB(S)
CB - L(S)
DM - SV(S)
CM - BTB(S)
W - AP(S)
ST - CF(A)

I realise I'm gonna have to manage all training for youth teams too so I'm gonna do some good research on how to build the most effective schedules (or download some)

Quite interested to see the results, if they are immediately discernable anyway.

Whoever said the Brazilian seasons are long wasn't lying. Feel like I've been in Brazil for years but I'm halfway through my first season with Flamengo.

Top of the league by a few points, struggling a little with consistency though.
