Some aspects of the game are taking some getting used to. I love the match engine but I hate the screen when there are no highlights, there's too much info and I don't know what to do with half of it. I thought FM20's in-match screen was perfect - it was clear, clean and displayed all the basic info you needed. All these xG/xA graphs can get in the bin, need a degree in data analysis to understand it. Not sure the body language stuff is actually worthwhile either, but I have enjoyed "thrashing my arms about" after defeats.

So, 10 games into the new league season and I'm currently sitting second in the league. My only league defeats have been to Celtic and Motherwell. We just beat Rangers 4-1 at East End Park.

We qualified for the Europa League group stages by beating Besiktas on away goals in the playoff round. I didn't get a very favourable group being drawn with Arsenal, Vit. Guimaraes and Feyenoord but I'm sitting second after 3 games.

I'm also about to play Celtic in the Betfred Cup semi-final.

I've not really spent much money in the transfer market, although I've brought in a huge amount of new players mainly on free transfers, my biggest outlay being £300K on Reegan Mimnaugh from relegated Hamilton and he's not even in my first-team. I'm having real difficulty securing work permits for foreign players due to Brexit.
