So, here's what we know:

Xbox Series X: We now know that Forza Horizon 6's Quality Mode will run at a native 4K resolution at 30FPS on Xbox Series X, or you can switch to Performance Mode at a target of 4K, but with dynamic scaling to ensure it always remains at 60FPS.

"On Xbox Series X, the Quality mode runs in native 4K resolution at 30fps with increased visual fidelity, while the Performance mode targets 4K resolution, scaling dynamically to maintain a smooth 60fps."

Xbox Series S: The Xbox Series S version of Forza Horizon 6 will also contain Quality and Performance modes, with Quality running at 1440p, 30FPS, and Performance at 1080p, 60FPS. Both of these will feature dynamic resolution scaling in order to retain the desired frame rates.

Let's be honest, many of us expected this to be more of a rehash of FH5, but Playground Games has really upped its game. They've taken what we loved from the previous title and added layers of depth that make it feel fresh and exciting. It's not just the scenery that's stunning; the attention to detail in the cars and environments is impressive too.

Driving through the varied landscapes, from bustling cities to serene countryside, is nothing short of exhilarating. You can really lose track of time just exploring every nook and cranny, finding hidden gems along the way. The world feels so rich, and every corner you turn offers something new to discover.

Here are a few highlights that, in my opinion, make FH6 stand out:

Played about 4 hours today, love it so far.

The map is class, online was good, really enjoyed that eliminator mode.

Definitely see myself progressing through the "Discover Japan" route over the "Horizon events" route, the map is so nice to drive around and explore.
