As we await the release of Forza Horizon 6 on May 19, I thought it would be worthwhile to take a stroll down memory lane and rank all the games in the franchise to date. It's fascinating to see how this series has evolved from its early days. Each game brings its own flavour and unique features, making it tough to pick a favourite.

Forza Horizon (2012) - The original game set in Colorado introduced us to the open-world racing experience, blending stunning visuals with a massive car roster.
Forza Horizon 2 (2014) - Taking the racing to Southern Europe, it improved on its predecessor with dynamic weather and a day-night cycle.
Forza Horizon 3 (2016) - Set in Australia, this edition added more diversity with its vast landscapes and a deeper car customisation system.
Forza Horizon 4 (2018) - The UK setting brought seasonal changes to the game, making each race feel different depending on the time of year.
Forza Horizon 5 (2021) - The latest instalment in Mexico has wowed players with its breathtaking graphics, expansive map, and a plethora of activities.

FH5, as expected, looks the best but FH4 is the best for me. Maybe it was the UK location but the gameplay just felt better.

Forza Horizon 4 is the best in the series. I didn't mind FH5, but it just improved the visuals, not much else.
