Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 (2023) Movie Thread

I finally saw it over the weekend.

Really good. The Guardians movies have been a real high point of the MCU. A real villain helped massively.

All the main characters got some growth and decent plots.

Went to see this on Sunday. It was exactly what I expected, proper popcorn fare that does a really good job of closing the circle on the Guardians arc. Great soundtrack as per usual but some really gut-wrenching moments too.

Just finished this. Great fun from start to finish, Rocket's backstory was excellent and even a little moving.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. Made even better due to the fact it's the best sequel post-End Game where the characters don't really become joke versions of themselves

All characters evolve and get better through the movie. The tunnel fight scene is still awesome and manages to showcase each character's strengths.

The only thing I didn't like is they did the cop-out "will this character die" a few times

Also, the villain was good which usually makes for a good "superhero" movie.
