The series finale was excellent, taught dialogue with believable emotional range. It did what so few modern TV series can do, end properly and in keeping with what has gone before. BBC brilliance.

The most satisfying ending to a TV show ever I think. I was absolutely wrecked after watching it. Ah, it was just so good.

So glad I decided to binge-watch rather than week by week. Started watching the whole series last night, 6hrs and 10mins of brilliance.

The end showdown scene was just breathtaking acting by both Sarah Lancashire & James Norton.

My only minor criticism was the whole chemist storyline, pointless imo.
