Overview: Lyra is an orphan who lives in a parallel universe in which science, theology and magic are entwined. I'm enjoying this season more than the first.

Really good episode again this week. The production and visual effects are excellent, too.

Excited for the new season! Starting later than I thought (I had in mind that the finale would be on Boxing Day for some reason), but excited to see how they handle the adaptation of the 3rd book, there's some trippy stuff in there.

I pretty much have the same attitude to this series as I had to the books from what I can remember (or at least the abridged graphic novel version of the books I read!) - enjoyed the world building and character intrigue of the first two, but very quickly zoned out of the impenetrable lore of the third.
