In previous years he may have been seen as a QB who was better with his legs than throwing the ball. I think that has changed over the last two seasons. He has been excellent this year. He is one of the most explosive QB's in the league. Just look at his regular season stats this year.
He is likely to win his 3rd MVP Award this year and he was already the only player in football history with a Heisman Trophy and two NFL MVP awards, so he will also become the first with a Heisman and three NFL MVP awards.
He might not reach the historic figures of the likes of Brady, Brees, Manning, Rodgers etc but he is definitely one of the best QBs in the NFL.
