I do IT, I'm reasonably good at it and I don't mind it, I'm enthusiastic enough for it to keep me going. But if all jobs were paid the same it's not what I would be doing.

I think I'd go for some kind of travel writer possibly, having "experiences" of different cultures in far-flung lands

If all jobs paid the same, what would you like to do?

Well, in a perfect world, I would still be a librarian. It's what I trained for and books and libraries are things I love. However, as a qualified professional librarian, I would probably make at least what I do now in corporate so doesn't really fit with the "if all jobs paid the same" idea.

Now, if I could actually make a living as a fiction writer...yeah, I would be all over that. It's a hobby right now and I've made a grand total of US$15 doing it (third prize in a competition).

I quite like the idea of becoming an assistant librarian or book shop assistant although they are both a disappearing breed.

I've always wanted to run a dog shelter or an animal sanctuary for unwanted pets or animals that need sheltered/looked after.

If I ever won any money on the lottery this would be one of my first expenses (need to start playing the lottery first though ?)
