I really liked the first one. I can't stand musicals though and this one is supposed to have 15 musical numbers throughout the film and is being marketed as a musical.

Strange direction to go down isn't it but I'm interested as I loved the first.

Maybe the musical scenes will be in Arthur's head or something?

I was probably in the minority in finding the first Joker to be a disappointing derivative slog. It's one of the most overrated films in recent memory. So I went into this not expecting too much, but with the hope that they would build on the great acting of the first, and take it in an original direction that really enhanced all the good things about the first one. Well, they definitely went in an original direction, unfortunately, the signpost must've been pointed to the garbage dump because this was an enormous growler. One of the worst films I've ever seen.

I watched this last night, knowing the reviews. I went into this with a somewhat open mind, hoping it wasn't as bad as the reviews suggest. It was. It's dreadful.

This is not a musical, a musical I probably could have enjoyed. This is an incoherent mess.
