Not playing Rodri or Fernandinho is a gamble that's not paying off.

He needs someone there to do the midfield dirty work

A fine defensive performance so far by Chelsea. Absolutely impeccable.

Oh my goodness that might have been the trophy. Pulisic should have scored

Nice bit of possession play at the back there by Chelsea, surreal to see no City player busting a gut to close them down.

Aguero on for Sterling.

City have not really tested the Chelsea keeper all game. Has he had to make any difficult saves?

City don't look like scoring

That is a colossal failure for Pep Guardiola. It's not a great achievement winning the league considering his resources and squad. He had to win that tonight, true great teams add European success to domestic. Once again, he got his tactics very wrong. Sterling, Stones and Bernado Silva (and possibly Zinchenko) should not be starting that game. Playing De Bruyne, Foden, Mahrez, Gundogan and either Fernandino or Rodri holding with Aguero up front to start the game.

Fair play to Chelsea though, they played excellent in the first half and could have scored more. And in the second half they defended very well. Man City only had one or two shots at goal the whole night. The best team won and Tuchel beat Guardiola again.

Man City didn't perform last night. Probably down to the personnel selected and the way Chelsea played. Kante was exceptional and they defended very well. It was an impressive display all round.
